The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for fostering relationships and generating business leads across all of Summit's business lines and geographies.  The position will be assigned to a regional geography, but will leverage relationships / partnerships to create opportunities in all existing and future Summit locations.  The position will support the strategic plan for expansion into new business lines and geographies.

 Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Proactively identify pursuits and potential partnering opportunities
  • Proactively develop leads for future pursuits that may not be identified / active
  • Manage / develop relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Manage / develop relationships with existing and potential partners
  • Manage / develop relationships with existing and potential Summit Team members
  • Support the pursuit / marketing efforts for individual opportunities
  • Report lead generation / opportunities to the BD team on a regular reoccurring basis

Qualifications:

  • BSCE and 10 years of progressive experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Microsoft office suite user
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to travel as a part of work duties
