We are seeking a Systems Administrator to work with our growing company.   Initially this position would be based Hillsborough, but we are open to transitioning the position to our Raleigh office.  The Systems Administrator must be able to travel to our other locations throughout North Carolina, Virginia and surrounding states. 


  • Install, configure, secure and monitor IT infrastructure components including physical servers as well as systems software
  • Develop short to medium term plans for systems and software interfaces
  • Provide application support and troubleshooting of application systems and interfaces, including recognition and response to emergencies and urgent issues
  • Maintain, schedule, test and implement application software patches and upgrades to match needs of the organization
  • Proactively work with users and vendors to solve problems, improve processes and increase workforce productivity
  • Plan, install and set up all personal computer systems, laptops and iPads
  • Manage, verify and monitor data backups
  • Provide ongoing business application training and assistance to end users.
  • Manage remote access solutions to ensure proper functionality
  • Continuously improve knowledge of application systems, new features and processes.
  • Make recommendations for upgrading and disposal of computers systems and equipment
  • Assist and support all IT staff as needed




  • Bachelors in Information Technology with 3+ years of experience or 6 years of progressive experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical as well a willingness to engage individuals in order to proactively solve problems
  • Strong experience in working and training non-technical users in understanding their needs and innovating solutions to meet their expectations
  • Systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage several projects at the same time effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Prior experience with Autodesk / Bentley products a plus
