Architectural Designer

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking Architectural Designer for our Architecture Department in our Westminster, CO office. The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated with a commitment to design excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will primarily be working on a variety of industrial, commercial, office and mixed-use projects.

Requirements:

• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
• Develop design documents, such as plans, sections, elevations and models using Revit
• Produce and design construction documents
• Assist in construction administration and the creation of contract documents
• Attend regular meetings with clients, contractors, and specialists, and make regular site visits to check on progress
• Create graphics and research information for inclusion in marketing proposals and materials
• Work collaboratively to support the architecture team

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Master's degree a plus
• 2-5 years of experience, working toward licensure
• High proficiency using Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max and Google Sketch-Up
• Knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs
• Knowledge of general architectural practice including programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering
• Ability to develop solutions to technical challenges
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently as well as on teams.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to travel as required by job demands.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $75,000 per annum*

*Salary commensurate with relevant professional experience & credentials
