Architectural Project Manager

Summit Design and Engineering Services, is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to enhance the well-being of our clients, the performance of their buildings and the aspirations of our company.  The ideal candidate must be a strong leader and passionate about great design.  They must be able to motivate, inspire, balance and respect team members and their work/life integration. 

Responsibilities:

• Experience working on architectural design projects including commercial, corporate, industrial and academic facilities.
• Collaborate effectively with individuals and organizations internally and within the project team on project requirements.
• Responsible for the development and coordination of the drawings and specifications.
• Maintain existing, as well as develop new business opportunities in North Carolina and adjoining states.  Cultivation and stewardship of strong client relationships.
• Assist Business Development Manager with marketing and business development activities as needed.
• Mentor and facilitate the development of the staff within the office in support of the Department Manager and corporate goals. 
• Organize and direct internal production team to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
• Administration of construction services and quality control.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Licensed Architect in North Carolina.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience and working knowledge of building systems and contract documents.
• Be self-directed, as well as be able to take feedback and direction from others.
• Have leadership skills to communicate and collaborate with teammates, consultants and clients.
• Proficient with REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
