We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a commitment to design excellence. This candidate should possess the ability to manage project deadlines, establish and maintain client relationships, and inspire a high level of performance from the team. This position will work from our Westminster, Colorado offce.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design civil engineering land development components under the direct supervision of the Project Manager
• Provide design calculations, permit applications and plan sets for storm drainage, sanitary sewer mains, stormwater control facilities, pressure networks, mass and fine grading with Civil 3D, sediment and erosion control, and roadways
• Ensure that all steps and procedures are followed for state and local jurisdictional requirements
• Write and assemble quality design and technical reports
• Work on multiple project tasks, while prioritizing responsibilities, and managing deadlines for submittals to maintain the overall project schedule
• Actively assists in Quality Control throughout the project
• Establish and maintain client relationships including periodically sending project status updates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BSCE and Professional Licensure in Colorado
• Minimum 5 years of work experience or combination of advanced degree and work experience
• Knowledge of Civil3D and associated design and modeling software
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering design requirements and principles
• Effective collaboration skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction
• Ability to assist with and prepare presentations
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as on teams
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to manage and grow key relationships with clients and to market the Firm's services to clients
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
