Director of Strategic Sourcing and Inclusion

Summit Design and Engineering Services, PLLC, has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Director of Strategic Sourcing and Inclusion. This position will lead company-wide efforts to streamline procurement, deliver value through strategic sourcing, and champion diversity and inclusion efforts. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can be a change agent for our rapidly growing and expanding firm.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement processes that support company growth and geographical expansion
• Identify, formalize, and manage relationships with subconsultants, material suppliers, and vendors to leverage spending and maximize value.
• Support operations and business development teams with client contract negotiations
• Interface with operations and business development teams to identify strategic teaming opportunities and support agreement development
• Develop and implement contracting clearinghouse to maintain current industry contracting standards and practices
• Develop and implement supplier performance program
• Manage, develop, and grow contract administration staff
• Serve as Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the company, providing leadership and supporting positive change.
• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Diversity and Inclusion Program interfacing with operations, marketing, and human resources teams.
• Support CFO and company counsel in legal proceedings and risk management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum ten years of experience.
• Must have knowledge , expertise and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining diversity and inclusion programs focused on the design and construction industry
• Must have knowledge , expertise and demonstrated success in sourcing, procurement, and contract administration focused on the design and construction industry
• Highly motivated with a commitment to excellence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as on teams.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to travel as needed.
