GEOTECHNICAL BRANCH MANAGER

Summit Design and Engineering Services is currently seeing a Branch Manager to lead our Geotechnical efforts of our Indian Trail office.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Effectively communicate and work in partnership with CMT Manager.
• Collaborate to recruit necessary talent to maintain and/or improve the geotechnical group's ability to produce a quality work product.
• Coach, mentor and facilitate the development of the staff within the Geotechnical Group in support of the corporate goals. 
• Preparation of proposals and responses to RFQs, SOQs, RFPs and LOIs as needed.
• Create and implement quality control practices and procedures.
• Managing technical risk in the service unit.
• Lead marketing and business development activities.
• Effectively manage revenue and expenses to ensure profitability of the Branch Office.

Qualifications:

• BSCE or MS in Geotechnical Engineering.
• PE license.
• 10 plus years of progressive practical geotechnical experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with an initiative and collaborative ability to overcome challenges are essential. Ability to recruit, hire, manage, mentor and retain staff.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining client relationships.
