MARKETING MANAGER

We are looking for a creative and energetic Marketing Manager to help us bring our company vision to life.  

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Work with Engineering Division Managers and senior service managers to coordinate company's advertising efforts, market research, proposal development, and public relations strategies.
• Develop marketing strategies in concert with company's vision.
• Develop with the assistance of the Marketing Coordinator marketing materials to support the company's vision.
• Follow-up with prospective clients as requested by the Engineering Division Managers.
• Follow-up on open proposals.
• Supervise and assist in the execution of writing and creating marketing materials.
• Coordinate and assist in the development of proposals in response to "Requests for Information/Qualifications".
• Assist Engineering Division Managers in the preparation of proposals, ensure compliance in accordance with the RFQs, and deliver proposals in the correct format and in a timely manner
• Track various governmental websites for new opportunities.
• Manage efforts to collect and report all proposal data to determine overall hit ratios, competitive proposal hit ratios, and client satisfaction based on percentage of new business from existing clients, new business from new clients and new business from referrals.
• Report proposal success rates comparing to industry averages.
• Supervise marketing staff; assist with training, oversee their daily activities and evaluate their performance.
• Direct/assist staff to keep up to date all resumes, project profiles and generic departmental bio's
• Manage social media, public relations efforts, website enhancements and updates
• Develop marketing budget
• Actively participate in Marketing Professional Associations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration concentration in marketing and communication
• 3 plus years of marketing experience preferably with a civil engineering or industry related company
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language, experience working with Civil Engineering or Contructrution firms a plus
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
