NBIS Data Analyst

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking an experienced NBIS Data Analyst to work in our Raleigh, office(s). The NBIS Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting with data and reporting input for bridge inspections and large pipe and culvert inspections in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and NCDOT guidelines. This position will work closely with Team Leaders and Team Assistants to ensure inspections are completed accurately and efficiently and input accurately into the NCDOT Wigins bridge inspection database.

Responsibilities:

• An understanding of structures inspections in accordance with NBIS and NCDOT guidelines
• An understanding of deficiencies, conditions evaluations, such that proper data inputs are made into Wigins database.
• Records and maintains records of conditions of structures using Wigins database.
• Prepares preliminary draft technical inspection reports from field inspection data using Wigins

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Microsoft office skills (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Valid Driver's license with good driving record and ability to drive.
