Revit Design Technician

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a full-time Revit Design Technician to join our Architectural department in our Raleigh office.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently generate building information models for various construction types for commercial buildings and residential structures.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Collaborate with teams on all phases of design and construction
• Work closely with project manager and staff to realize high level of project success.
• Create contract documents which include plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules and other various drawing requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in related discipline OR equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Minimum two years of experience.
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize workload
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using Sketch-Up, 3D Max and Rhino is a plus
• Ability to apply design principles and use feedback to modify designs
• Knowledge of materials and general construction techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as with teams
