We are seeking Structural Engineer, Entry Level. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of structural design experience, but will consider less experience if a candidate has a strong academic record. This EI will work with our Structural team based in Wilmington.

• Perform design and analysis on projects under the direction of a senior structural engineer
• Provide drafting of constructions documents utilizing Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and specifications
• Perform basic calculations
• Perform field work, including observing and documenting existing conditions and taking measurements in a variety of environments
• Inspect construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specification and construction and safety standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience with a focus on Structural Engineering, preferred
• Engineering Intern
• Experience with Building Structural Engineering AutoCAD and REVIT software
• Experience with wood, structural steel, and reinforced concrete design, or has completed courses related to these materials
• Experience with structural engineering analysis software such as RAM Steel and RAM Elements
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive, visit job sites
• Ability to walk on rough and uneven terrain, climb and balance (on a ladder), and enter a crawlspace as needed
