Utility Coordinator

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a qualified Utility Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Pursue and manage utility contracts
• Professionally interact with owners, utility companies, consulting engineers, inspectors, and government agencies in performance of the utility coordination processes

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in construction, engineering, or combination high school diploma/industry training and 10 years technical experience

• Minimum of 5 years of utility coordination and /or related experience

• Experience with engineering design programs

• Experience with discipline-specific projects such as light rail and municipal projects

• Knowledge and experience overseeing multiple projects

• Experience writing and documenting action plans, status reports and assessments

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Ability to work independently as well as with a team

• Ability to operate within policy guidelines

• Ability to use independent judgment

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive and travel as needed

Candidates may be subject to outside environmental conditions, including hazards at construction sites. Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain.
